We all experience days where we have been taken out of balance. Maybe we didn’t get a good night’s sleep or we simply woke up not feeling good in body, mind and soul, and feeling completely out of balance.
Have you ever started your day like that, where you have your to-do list but you feel totally unproductive, and you start berating yourself for not getting stuff done and you end up going in a downward spiral? Well, it doesn’t have to be that way. You can learn to harness that energy and use it for your good.
Once you learn how to love yourself and know your self worth, you can embrace these rough days and see them as a gift. Give yourself the space to “be” in that moment, in that feeling, and allow yourself to move through the feeling, whatever it might be.
Allow yourself to accept “what is”, accept that this is the way you are feeling today and don’t judge yourself.
Do whatever you need to do to give you that space, and when you have done that, do whatever it takes to balance yourself again, be it yoga, getting out in nature, talking with a friend or having a massage, whatever feeds your soul.
Be kind and loving with yourself. And rememeber, this too shall pass.
